Thirsties Duo Diaper is a two-piece diapering system that combines an absorbent insert and waterproof sleeve diaper. The absorbent insert has seven layers made of microfiber terry and hemp for dependable day or night leak protection. Diaper sleeve design makes for easy insert stuffing and one-step cleaning. All Duo products are available in 2 sizes, and adjust to your baby's shape. Duo diapers will cover your baby from birth to potty.

  • Durable snap or convenient hook-and-loop closures
  • Leg gussets provide advanced leak protection
  • Reliable waterproof exterior
  • Size One: 6-18 lbs
  • Size Two: 18-40 lbs
Before Use: Wash your Duo Diaper shells along with the terry portion of the insert once before use. The hemp portion of the insert needs to be washed and dried at least three times before use to rid the fibers of the natural oils. Do this separately from your other diapering products for the first 3 washes. Inserts will be fully primed and at their maximum absorbency after 8 wash cycles.
At Every Wash Cycle: Prewash on warm, wash on hot, and add another rinse on warm. Hang the shells dry or dry in the dryer on low. Inserts may be hung dry or dried in the dryer. If inserts are stiff after line drying, dry on medium heat with wool dryer balls to soften inserts.
Important Notes: Use enough water to soak and cover the diapering items and allow them to agitate.
Avoid the Following: Laundry boosters/additives, sanitize or whites cycles on HE machines, high heat in the dryer, pure soap, or bleach. These practices and/or additives can void the warranty on your Thirsties products. A 15 minute cycle on hot in the dryer once a month is beneficial to lamination and will not void your warranty. You may use high heat on inserts.
